January 6, 2012

Okay, so with that fabulous intro, let me tell you about today's Featured Artist. As promised, she is one of the Promotional Frenzy Team leaders. I have read so many wonderful things about this woman from other team members, customers, random Etsy artists. When I first joined the team and was let loose into the threads with reckless abandon, this calm spirit came to my rescue....or maybe it was to the team's rescue...hmmmm.....

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you ~
Sewing Granny

By her own hand, she has this to say about herself and her lovely Etsy shop....

"•*¨)¸.•*¨)... I am a correctional officer and a grandmother. I took up sewing a number of years ago when I started working nights. At first they were given as gifts, then all my family had quilts and it was getting very expensive, so I started selling a few to people at work.

.•*¨)¸.•*¨)... I really like to sew especially hand stitching. I now place some of my items at craft stores here on consignment but really like to sell my items personally.

.•*¨)¸.•*¨)... I make a number of different items - quilts, baby bibs & burp pads, aprons, placemats to name a few."

To name a few is quite an understatement, here are "just a few" items from Sewing's shop.....

To quote a customer, "her stitching is impeccable", "the pictures don't do her work justice", "timely shipping"...the list goes on and on. Stop by Sewing Granny.etsy.com and pick up a few things...you know you want to ^_^.

Have a great weekend! See you on Monday!

  11. I can't say enough good things about Mona. Not only are her items outstanding but she herself is so very caring and supportive.

She is always ready to step in and help anyone who needs it. Being a leader is a tremendously time consuming task and in spite of Mona's busy schedule with work and family, she manages to find the time to do wonderful things for all of us.

Hats off to Mona...A five Star member of Promotional Frenzy Team!

(I can't do stars; will five hearts do?) ♥♥♥♥♥

  21. Great feature and her work does look beautiful. When you are selling items that have been stitched, people want neat stitching, and it sounds like she has a good reputation.
