“the first day of the rest of your life”!!!.
Okay, very cliche’, but very appropriate. When I have bad days, for whatever reason – inhaled three cream puffs in 20 seconds, flipped off the driver who cut me off by screaming at the top of my lungs and beating the steering wheel – whatever the reason, I have to remind myself that tomorrow, I get to re-invent myself in the image I want to be and so it’s okay. Perfection is not what I strive to be, not even to my children. I strive to be the best version of me that I can be. So when I make mistakes, I make great ones and smile afterwards. Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
